Rene Angelil – a man who is the most deserving that we enjoy the songs of Celine Dion for over 25 years.
Unfortunatley, he died recently. So here is a post about him and Celine who showed to the whole world that love does not care about the rules.
A love story between Celine Dion and her manager Rene Angelil has began more than 30 years ago.
Celine had met Rene when she was only 12 years old. Her brother had sent a demo tape to Rene with hope that he will like Celine’s singing and that he will contact them. Days after tape being sent, Rene didn’t call. Therefore, Celin’s brother called Rene and told him:
”I know you didn’t listen the demo tape I sent you, because if you did, you would call immediately”
After receiving a call, Rene listened the demo tape and shortly afterwards met with Celine. At the end of her first audition, Rene was so touched by her singing, that he cried.
They did not get the funds to record Celine’s first album so Rene took risk and put his house mortgaged, he was so confident of Celine’s talent.
Celine and Rene were born in Canada. When Celine was born, Rene was 26 and he was already in his first marriage. Rene’s first son was born only few months before Celine.
When he met Celine, in 1980, he was in his second marriage with a famous singer. Rene divorced in 1988 when he had started a relationship with Celine.
In his chart all these events are clearly painted ;
The first thing we might notice in his chart is that he has Manglik dosha (Mars in the 7th house). Therefore, we can immediately conclude that he will have at least two marriages.
Karakas (significator) for marriage (Venus and Jupiter) are retrograde and Saturn which is in the 7th house of marriage is also retrograde – Rene had a lot of karmic debts in terms of marriage.
Saturn is Atmakaraka in his chart – that is the planet at the highest degree which represent the soul of the person. Settlement of Atmakaraka in a certain house shows areas where people will suffer the most and where the soul is going to learn valuable lessons.
In Rene’s case that was the 7th house – marriage and relationships, including business relationships.
His first marriage is seen through eight house because there is Upa pada Lagna – the most important Arudha pada that we look for marital relations.
If Upa pada is in the 8th house we have karmic debts from past life towards our partners, specially first marriage partner.
First marriage happened at the end of 1966 in the period of Mars–Mercury; Mars is the ruler of the 7th house, also sits in that house. Mercury is in the 4th house and have aspect (by rashi drishti) on Jupiter and eight house.
His second marriage happened in June 1973. Rene married famous singer Anne Renée. Second marriage in his chart is observed in third house. (For each new spouse we count eight houses from current Upa pada)
In the third house, which represents Anne, is the Moon – significator for singers and fame. At that time Anne was very famous, but shortly after she divorced from Rene she withdrew from the music world. Anne met Rene in a similar way as Celine did; he was a partner of Anne’s producer.
According to Anne’s sources they divorced in 1985, according to Rene sources they were divorced in 1988.
The cause of divorce is seen through the second and the eighth house from Upa pada;
in the 4th house, which is the second from the Upa pada, is the reason of separation. In the fourth house are three planets – Venus, Sun and Mercury. Venus is very strong because it is retrograde. If Venus is in the second house from Upa pada – reason might be a love for another person.
Strength that Venus have (according to settlement in the 4th house Venus have direct strength – DIG BAL) only shows that between them was extremely strong attraction on the soul level.
That is confirmed by the involvement of his Atmakaraka (Saturn is dispositor of Venus) and Darakaraka (Sun – which is the soul of his partner).
When Charakaraka is associated with marriage that means that it is the soul level, a link with the ninth house shows predestined events. Mercury, which is in conjunction with Venus and the Sun, is the ruler of ninth house which represents the fate and this confirms that their meeting was destiny.
Next combination that confirm the cause of his second divorce is the placement of Dara pada (reflection 7th house) in the 4th house, the house in which we can see the reason of divorce, as I have already mention. Dara pada shows physical relations.
If A7 (Dara pada) is in the second house from Upa pada it could mean that the marriage is over due to love relation with other woman.
This is interesting because the public never knew when they really started their relationship. Official information says that they started dating when she turned 19.
There is speculation that their relationship began 1985/1986., when Celine was 17 or 18 years old. Celine said that she was in love with him long before they started dating. And it was later sang in one of her songs:
”I wish I could go back to the very first day I saw you
Should’ve made my move when you looked in my eyes”
At that time Rene was 44. They were hiding their relationship for a very long time. It was only after several years that they published they relationship and announced engagement.
In 1980, when Rene met Celine he was in Rahu- Ketu period. When karmic axis – Rahu/Ketu is activated we’re under the influence of past life karma and we do not have lot of free will at that particular time. Arrival of Celine in his life during this period shows that their meeting was inevitable, karmic and ”written in stone”…
It is interesting that he married her in the sub-period of Ketu, a main period was Jupiter.
In January 2000, they renew vows, and at that time Rene again was in the antardash of Ketu.
Too much coincidence isn’t it? Some events in life are predestined as we can see…
A few months ago I wrote article about couples with big age difference in which you can read what planets are involved in that kind of relations.
The same rules are applied in Rene’s chart, only difference is that we do not apply these rules for his first marriage but for his third, cause Celine was his third wife.
What is most important is to confirm the year when they have started their relationship. To find out that, we are using the dasha rules when that sort of relationship might be started; “Starting during Mahadasha or Antardasha of Rahu, Moon, Saturn or Upa pada lord.”
From February 1985 to August 1986, Rene was in the period of Rahu–Moon, from August 1986 to August 1987 he was in Rahu–Mars period. After this period he entered the Mahadasha of Jupiter. Jupiter represents the truth and in Jupiter Mahadasha they acknowledged their relationship.
The Moon is lord of the third Upa pada, thus confirms that the relationship started while Celine was 17 or 18 years old ie. in his period of Rahu-Moon which is predicted by the rules given for big age differences relationships.
Around the time he went into a serious relationship with Celine, third Upa pada has been activated. If there is any other Arudha in tenth house with 3rd Upa pada, that subject will also arouse in person’s life. At that time he had began to suffer from variety of diseases.
First he had a heart attack, heart surgery, throat cancer, throat and tongue surgery, remission period and return of cancer few years ago.
If we take a closer look on the tenth house which represents his third marriage, we see that there is A6 or Shatru pada. This is a reflection of the 6th house – disease.
When he entered the third marriage (or serious relationship) it triggered the Shatru pada and disease.
If he expirienced manifestation of third marriage in physical realm, then he will also experience physical manifestation of any other Arudha that falls in 10th house. Unfortunately, in that house is only A6, hence he had manifestations of disease which lasted throughout the marriage, and of which he eventually passed away.
What Lagna will be Rene’s third wife?
In his chart, tenth house represents Celine. That house is in cancer – sign ruled by Moon.
Similarity between Celine and Rene‘s second wife, who also was a famous singer is that Anne had Moon on her Upapada and Celine’s Upapada is ruled by Moon – a planet who represent singers and fame.
A sign of cancer or its trigons should be literally taken as Lagna (Ascendant) of partner. Hence, in his case, Celine can have one of these three Lagnas: Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces.
Sometimes, if 7th house from Upa pada is extremely strong, then it also can be Lagna of our partner.
Now lets take a look on Celine’s birth chart:
Celine is Cancer Lagna, as predicted through Rene’s chart.
Now we can look Lagna for Celine’s first partner through her chart;
Celine’s first Upa pada falls in the 4th house of Libra – hence her partner might be Libra Ascedent or trine from this sign. Trigon signs of Libra are Aquarius and Gemini.
If we look in Rene’s chart we can see that he was born in LIBRA Ascedent (Lagna) as predicted through Celine’s chart.
This is very reliable tehnique in revealing partners Lagna.
Celine and Rene used to have similar challenges regarding their spiritual path.
Her Atmakaraka (planet which represents soul) have strong unobsrtucted Argala on 7th house which represents marriage. If Atmakaraka or Darakaraka – planet that represent soul of our partner is connected with the 7th house, it means that we have a spiritual relationship with a partner. Celine and Rene, both, had that combination.
Celine and Rene are an example of unconditional love.
